EVERLASTING BONDS
After my I Semester exams I got a wonderful opportunity to do an internship at THE HINDU as an internee reporter for a month. HINDU taught me many things during my internship and brought the best out of me by the end of the internship. It gave a feel of a family.
My subject journalism is so creative that we can explore every day new dimensions in it. It exudes interest towards the subject and we can get updated with the latest trends. Once you step into journalism you start finding the NEW YOU every day just like I found myself.
In the beginning of the course, I was the only one who spoke nothing in the class due to my poor communication skills. But as the days passed by I started speaking in front of everyone with self-confidence. This is because of my lecturers who encouraged me to overcome my weaknesses. They are the ones who supported me and made me into a courageous woman. To me, the word THANK YOU is just a small word to say to them because of what they have done to me. I wish our bonds continue the same forever.

FROM AN ALUMNA WITH LOVE
My intellectual lecturers were very supportive and enthusiastic which was evident through their mentoring classes. The college provides a grievance cell in order to strengthen the students emotionally and mentally. Besides education, I have also indulged in extra co-curricular activities, participating in various competitions, both indoors and outdoors, which has placed me to have more exposure to the external scenario. I and other students were highly motivated and encouraged through victory medals, awards, proficiency prizes and participation certificates. I experienced my golden period enjoying the facility of hostel, library, indoor stadium sports, celebrations, and fetes.
Today I can give talks in front of lacks of people, without any kind of phobia or stage fear, because I had interactive classes with seminars and presentations, attended national and international conferences outdoors, which helped me showcase my skills. All these activities intensified me to think out of the box. Stepping out of Maris Stella College has brightened and shaped my personality today. This college has gifted me a chance to sharpen my skills in my field of choice; it has been my most memorable and valuable experience. Maris Stella College is a family to me.

MARIS STELLA COLLEGE – A PLACE FOR OPPORTUNITIES AND TRANSFORMATION
I had pursued my graduation here with BA (HEP) group in 2013-16 batch. Coming to Academics, we had senior faculty for all subjects, who helped me a lot for gaining an overall percentage of 87% (approx). And had received “Prathiba Award” from Govt. of AP in 2016. And also received a gold medal in our college for academics.
The role of my college and faculty was immense in achieving it.
I had a great opportunity to meet students from various places in our country with various cultural settings and attitudes. This helped me a lot when I had stayed in Delhi for Civils coaching. Our college helped me to overcome the fear of meeting new people and to get mingle with them.
My communication skills had improved a lot compared to my intermediate. Particularly, my spoken English used to be very poor before coming to this college. But after completion of my graduation, I have found that it was very much better than earlier. I thank our faculty for using English as a medium of our communication.
With the encouragement of our faculty, I was able to explore the competing abilities in me to participate in various competitions. I had participated in many competitions conducted within and outside our college. I had won in various competitions like Elocution, debating, drawing, group discussions, paper presentations, quiz, theme-based skits, and NCC competitions. I thank this college for providing me such opportunities to participate in them.
My desire to be an NCC cadet had been fulfilled through this College. I had won a gold medal in IVC camp NCC camp Secunderabad and got selected (one among 12 cadets selected from AP &Telangana) for AIVSC camp (most prestigious camp in Air wing ). I was able to accomplish this with the support of our college.
The faculty and management stood as role models for the values, they preach. I have learned discipline, dedication, stewardship, dutifulness, sincerity and so on …
Library of this college is the greatest treasure for students. It helped me to widen my knowledge horizons.
This college stood for equality and unity of all the students. Our college was free from any divisions and biases. We have imbibed the same quality in our life too.
Our college environment and nature used to be very amazing. It used to be stress-free and student-friendly environment. I love my campus a lot for that reason.
Our Hostel wardens inculcated the quality of cleanliness among us. I had a great time in the hostel too.
Altogether my journey for three years in this college was really admirable for all the above reasons.
It made me more confident than earlier and prepared me to face challenges that come ahead in my life.

COLLEGE LIFE - A MEMORABLE ONE!
What amazes me is the plethora of extra-curricular activities that the institute offers. It generates enthusiasm for every student to explore his talents and pursue excellence. This enhances the life skills in students who can't be taught through academics.
Our college encourages its students to take up live projects and internship opportunities which would really help to land in the right job. The infrastructure of our college speaks for itself. Our library is outstanding and provides the students with a wide array of books, research papers, journals, and periodicals. All in all, our college provides every student with the knowledge and skills they need for life to be successful.

REMINISCENCES IN STELLA
The four things for which that I should thank the college are:
- I was always given a chance to understand and change myself: academically and personally.
- I was always given opportunities to broaden my thinking and understand Humanity and Oneness.
- I was given a platform to explore my talents without any inhibitions. The times I got nervous the lecturers encouraged me by saying, “There is no harm in losing Anupama… Nobody is perfect… Fall and Arise”.
- Being positive in all adversities.
